At Windstar Games, we are committed to delivering high-quality digital products that meet your business goals, creative vision, and technical requirements. This Product Policy outlines the terms, processes, and expectations related to the delivery, usage, and support of products created by Windstar Games.

1. Product Scope

Our products may include (but are not limited to):

  • Custom 2D/3D mobile and PC games
  • AR/VR experiences
  • UI/UX design systems
  • Interactive simulations
  • Backend systems and APIs
  • Game assets, animations, and visual effects

Each product is developed as per the client’s requirements documented in the project proposal or scope of work (SOW).

2. Deliverables

Windstar will provide the agreed-upon deliverables, which may include:

  • Executable builds or game files
  • Source code (where contractually agreed)
  • Art assets, UI components, and animation files
  • Documentation (technical, design, or deployment)
  • API endpoints or server configurations (if applicable)

Clients will receive deliverables via secure platforms (Google Drive, GitHub, Bitbucket, etc.) or dedicated servers, as agreed.

3. Development Timeline

All projects follow a phased development cycle:

  • Discovery & Planning
  • Design & Prototyping
  • Development
  • Testing & QA
  • Delivery & Deployment

Timelines are mutually agreed upon at the start of the project. Delays caused by client inaction (e.g., late feedback, missing assets) may affect the final delivery schedule.

4. Revisions & Modifications

Each product includes a limited number of revision rounds as outlined in the contract. Additional changes, features, or reworks requested outside the original scope will incur extra charges.

Windstar Games encourages timely feedback to avoid bottlenecks or misalignment during the development process.

5. Product Ownership & Licensing

  • Full Ownership: Clients who purchase the full development package (including source code) will own the final product and its assets upon full payment.
  • License-Based Delivery: In some cases (e.g., white-label games or prototypes), Windstar retains partial or full ownership, and the client receives a license to use or distribute the product.

Ownership terms will be clearly defined in the signed agreement or proposal.

6. Quality Assurance

Every product undergoes rigorous internal testing for:

  • Functionality and performance
  • Device and platform compatibility
  • Bug detection and resolution
  • UI/UX consistency

We ensure that final deliverables meet industry standards and client expectations. Post-delivery support may be offered as part of a maintenance agreement or for a limited time.

7. Confidentiality

All client data, product concepts, and proprietary materials are treated as confidential. Windstar signs NDAs and ensures that no sensitive information is shared or reused outside of the project.

8. Usage Restrictions

Unless specified otherwise in the contract, clients may not:

  • Resell the product without written consent
  • Reverse-engineer or modify core functionalities for resale
  • Use Windstar’s name, logo, or internal tools for third-party distribution without approval

9. Product Updates & Maintenance

Maintenance and post-launch updates are not included by default unless explicitly mentioned in the contract. Clients may request:

  • Bug fixes or compatibility patches
  • Feature enhancements
  • Game balancing or analytics tracking

Ongoing support can be added as a separate retainer or service agreement.

10. Disputes & Claims

Any disputes regarding product functionality, delivery, or usage must be raised within 14 days of final delivery. After this period, Windstar considers the product approved and accepted.

Disputes will be resolved in good faith through direct communication, and where necessary, through legal mediation in accordance with Indian law.
